Frozen Giant

The Frozen Giant is the ice-bound wreck of a giant military walker built by Blue Ice Industries under the codename Project Gigantico. It came to rest in the Arctic Semicircle following the Project Gigantico Crash of 2600, and its remains now house the Blue Ice Bot Arena.

History

Project Gigantico was a giant walker developed by Blue Ice Industries as a military experiment, intended to force a heavy ground route south to the Wet Lands — a crossing The Pioneers had already made by air with The Copper Maiden. During its trial it failed in the Arctic Semicircle and was abandoned where it fell. See the Project Gigantico Crash.

The wreck sat frozen in the ice for decades. From 2650 Blue Ice Industries developed the crash site, building the Ice Berg Circuit alongside it, and in 2654 opened the Blue Ice Bot Arena within the walker’s hull.
