Neutron NRG Flight Crash

The Neutron NRG Flight Crash was a failed experimental aviation project by Neutron NRG in 1994 — the first known attempt to use the Curse of Ravana as a technological power source. It resulted in multiple casualties and the abandonment of all aeronautic projects.

Background

Neutron NRG sought additional means of logistics and transportation. An experimental aviation programme was initiated, with aircraft powered by harnessing extremely small amounts of the Curse of Ravana’s energy as a propulsion source.

What Happened

The propulsion technology proved unstable and dangerous from the earliest experiments. Casualties were suffered during testing. A test flight in 1994 ended in the aircraft crashing into the cliffs near Old Man’s Consequences. The airplane remains buried in the cliffs.

Aftermath

All aeronautic projects at Neutron NRG were scrapped following the crash. This represents the first known direct use of the Curse of Ravana as an energy source in a technological application rather than as a biological force.
