Long Island

Long Island is an island in Frangfurd, named by its founder Lon’ Lon’, who walked its perimeter for many years and declared it a “long island.”

History

Lon’ Lon’ and his older brother Sho’t’ Lon’ arrived as refugees from the collapsing Lichdenstein, carrying the intention of rebuilding their family’s legacy from their home settlement of Long Dong Island. They sought a place to establish a foundation safe from the world’s instability and to secure a future for their descendants.

Lon’ Lon’ circled the island repeatedly over many years, eventually claiming it to be a “long island” — a declaration that became its permanent name. The western cliff face, Cheeky Sands, served as a holy site and praying ground for Lon’ Lon’, and is the death site of Sho’t’ Lon’.
